Product Description

Snore-Ex's anti snoring mouthpiece is an oral appliance also referred to as a Mandibular Advancement Device. The simple custom-fit mouthpiece positions and holds the jaw, opening airways for maximum airflow, thus reducing or eliminating snoring vibrations. More specifically, it provides a forward-positioning for the tongue, which is connected to the lower jaw. This increases airflow and minimizes the most common snoring cause - soft palette vibrations in the rear of the mouth. This is for adults only. Actual color of the travel case may vary (blue or white).

Well, all I can say is it works. I bought the product, it is a mouthpiece that you form to your own mouth. Apparently, it works by keeping your teeth in a position that is natural, yet doesn’t allow you to snore. My husband tells me it is a miracle! I, of course, wasn’t bothered by my own snoring, but he was, so really, I bought it for him. One night I didn’t wear it, just to test him out, and believe me, he noticed. It only took a couple of days for me to be used to sleeping with it. Only one issue – I find myself drooling at times when I wake up, when that wasn’t happening before. Otherwise, the product does what it says it will do!

For the price, I thought what the heck I would give it a try. After two out-patient surgical procedures and trying to sleep on the funky pillow that is suppose to help, this was my last hope of something that would work. I am so glad I did because I do not snore with this device. When I get up in the morning my mouth does feel a little weird, but in order to sleep with my wife again, this device is well worth it.

I have TMJ and a night retainer was recommended to help bring my bottom jaw forward in order to help with my TMJ and my snoring. Unfortunately this was not covered by our insurance.

I tried a mouth guard advertised on T.V., but it was very very uncomfortable and nothing but a hard piece of plastic. I’ve been shopping on Amazon for years and rely on product photo’s and reviews and have never been lead astray! I searched for a mouth guard on Amazon and found Snore-Ex. The photo showed a before and after shot of molding the mouth guard. The product looked like it was made of a more plyable material, so I gave it a try!

Upon recieving the mouth guard I molded it as instructed and it molded to my mouth/teeth perfectly! Just like any mouth guard/retainers, it takes some getting used to. The first week, there was an increase of drooling…sorry to be gross, but gotta be honest…and I removed the mouth guard in the middle of the night because it just felt overwhelming. I continued to wear it because my husband said it was working! After a week or 2 the drooling stopped and it no longer feels overwhelming!

I love this product and highly recommend you give it a try over any other product being sold. I’m planning on buying at least 2 more so I’ll never be without it!

I’ve tried snore pills, a Brookstone snore pillow ($100 waste of money), other applicances that were hard plastic and extremely uncomfortable in an unsuccessful effort to stop snoring.

This one actually works! My wife reports a snoring reduction of about 95% and I no longer sleep in the guest room!

The instructions were simple, well written and easy to follow.

The soft appliance does bring my lower jaw forward but it retracts to its normal position in about an hour. I’ve had no soreness whatsoever.

In addition, the low price and a 30 day return policy makes this a great buy.

I was scheduled for surgery to relieve snoring, but decided to try this device on the off chance it might work. The instructions were extremely clear, and the device was comfortable from the first night. My wife reported that my snoring stopped immediately, and has not returned with continued use. Increased salivation is a minor problem, but I keep the device in without difficulty. I am also able to sleep through the night for the first time in years. I use it with the nasal spreader, which allows me to breath through my nose for the first time in years and is also very comfortable. For the cost, I think it is worth a try for any adult who meets the criteria for using it. I cancelled my surgery.

    BTW, I am a physician.

I have not been able to sleep in the same room as my husband for several months as his snoring has gotten increasingly worse over the past year. He is a soft palette snore-er. This mouth piece has done the trick. If he gets stuffy he still has a bit of a nasal snore, which goes away when he falls into deeper sleep. But gone is the horrible room shaking throat snore. He reports the mouth piece is pretty comfortable and does not mind wearing it. He is getting better sleep not waking himself up all night, is feeling more rested, and we can finally both sleep in our bedroom together! It may not work for all types of snoring, but we are very pleased. I don’t know about durability so far, but at this price I am not worried, we’ll keep buying it. I have a family member who underwent the soft palette laser surgery, to not even have it work, and is still looking for a solution, I’ll recommended this product to him! A great product at a great buy!

I have sleep apnea and was told I need a C-PAP. I did not want my husband to think he was sleeping next to Darth Vader, but doing nothing was not an option for me either! My snoring had become very load and annoying to the whole family, and I was waking with a sore throat and headaches. I was also very concerned about my health.

First night was much better then I had expected it to be, only woke a few times. By the third night I was sleeping all night comfortable, better then without! Completely stopped my snoring per husband, since I have never heard myself, and I am feeling much better in the morning with no more headaches. Liked the idea of the small breathing hole in the front of the device. I have seen some models that advertise that it is not needed but if you are a mouth breather it makes it more comfortable.

Well worth the $25 to save the possible hundreds I could have spent, the health concerns and the discomfort of sleeping with a mask over my face all night. Thanks! :)

I thought this item was fairly easy to mold to my mouth, just like any other mouth guard used for sports. My mouth and jaw were sore for the first week or so, but the benefits for my wife(not waking up) and for myself (not waking myself up, or my wife kicking me) are worth it. It has greatly reduced my snoring.

A great way to help you decide if this will help you, is try to breath through your nose and try to make a snoring sound. Then try the same thing with your lower jaw pushed out just a little. If it seems easier to breath and the snoring sound is reduced I believe this should also work for you.

This device works and works well. I recently bought a “stop snoring” pillow from Brookstone for $100, but it was only marginally effective. The Brookstone pillow only works when sleeping on your back. I bought the Snore-Ex device as a more portable alternative prior to taking a vacation with my wife.

The instructions for fitting the device were concise and accurate. I probably could have been more aggressive in biting down during the fitting, but the fit was sufficient to keep my jaw positioned forward just like “positioning your teeth to bite corn on the cob” (as it says in the directions).

There was some discomfort during the first few nights, but I found I could gradually increase the time from a few hours to wearing it overnight. Also, I have noticed that it has a training effect in that I now tend to sleep with my jaw forward, even when I am not wearing the Snore-Ex device.

I plan to order more, one to see if I can improve the fit and another for long term use. Both my wife and I really appreciate the results.

My snoring problem is due to allergies making nose breathing difficult; I don’t know if performance of the piece is affected by cause so I’m including that information.

Because of new caps my professional snore guard no longer worked so i decided to try this one as a stop-gap since next year I have to get more new caps for other badly aging teeth.

It does not fit as tightly as the professional one but stays in place.

The fit is more comfortable than my professional one and my husband and I got to sleep in the same same bed together again for the first time since my cap work began. The guard reduced snoring so well that I awoke with a slightly dry throat but not my usual sore throat.

We will be interested to see how well it works during my worst allergy seasons. If it is less effective then I might try a new type of professional snore guard which juts the mandible even more and has no obstructions in front, but if it works well enough l may just continue buying these after my caps are all done.
